About Jewish Community Radio Jewish Community Radio is an independent, non-profit radio show that broadcasts live twice a week. We strive to serve the greater Cleveland community with a wide mix of music, news, interviews and more. We broadcast on Fridays from 12:00 noon - 1:00 PM and on Sundays from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) on 88.7 FM WJCU. What is Jewish Youth Radio? Jewish
Youth Radio is a weekly class that is taught Tuesdays at the Akiva
after school program of the Siegal
College of Jewish Studies and Wednesday at Fuchs
Mizrachi High School. Students are taught the basics of audio production
and broadcasting as well as interviewing skills, Jewish music and more.
Past youth conducted segments have been promos, ads, and discussion groups
on various current events. |
